My son, Jared, was a junior in high school. He had always had good skin, occasional breakout as teenage kids do. He ran out of his cleanser so I bought him just and everyday over the counter cleanser and less that a week later my son had full blown acne.
I took him to a dermatologist who stated that Jared had a skin reaction to the cleanser that he had used. This process lasted about a year and a half. Jared was on countless antibiotic treatments, expensive creams, etc. Even with all these treatments, nothing seemed to help. Once he stopped the antibiotics, it was not long until the acne returned full force. Of course, I was worried about all the antibiotic use.
Teenage years are such difficult times anyway; but with acne, it can be traumatizing. I could see my son’s discomfort with the acne not only physically but emotionally.

Lisa had mentioned that she was trying something new with a “purple light”. Lisa had Jared take some vitamins along with Lisa praying over Jared everyday with this light. Jared’s face started clearing up about 3-4 weeks later. It was probably about two months into the process that Jared’s face had cleared up and was looking good again.
